Below are photos from one of the most extraordinary and joyful weeks of my life - the week I explored Italy with my nephew, Christian Collum and his beloved partner and friend, Kerrie Janvrin.
Christian and Kerrie spent a semester in Florence, Italy through Endicott College in the Fall of 2018 and graciously gave me the grand tour of much of beautiful Italy.
From wandering through the sublime streets of Florence to day trips to Venice, Pisa, Rome & Milan, I felt true joy. Bonding with these magnificent young people and exploring the great art and cultural history of Italy with individuals I truly cherish, is an experience I will remember forever.
Profound thanks to Christian & Kerrie for hosting such an amazing adventure. It was a life-changing experience in the best possible way....and it reminded me again that even with the seemingly endless trials of this world, it is still a magical thing to be alive - and to explore.
